Angle steel is one of the common profile products in steel structures. 

There are two types of angle bar: equal angle bar and unequal angle bar.

Among the two types of angle bar, the application population of equal leg angle bar is larger than that of non equal leg angle bar. 

The two sides of an equilateral angle bar have equal widths, and their specifications are expressed in millimeters of side width * side width * side thickness.

 If ∠ 40 * 40 * 4, it indicates an equilateral angle bar with a side width of 40mm and a side thickness of 3mm. It can also be represented by a model, 

which is the number of centimeters of the side width, such as ∠ 4 #.

The following editor will introduce another type of angle steel: unequal edge angle bar. The so-called unequal angle bar refers to steel with an angular section 

and unequal lengths on both sides. The general specification of unequal angle bar is ∠ 50 * 32 - ∠ 200 * 125, with a thickness of 4-18.

Due to the various types and specifications of angle bar, the application range of angle bar is relatively wide. Angle bar can be seen in buildings, bridges, 

power transmission towers, lifting and transportation machinery, ships, industrial furnaces, reaction towers, container racks, cable trench supports, power piping, 

busbar support installation, and warehouse shelves.
